Mir-Com Products, LLC is a diverse supplier to the Chiropractic Profession that includes products like the Dynamic Disk Model sold exclusively in the United States through the Kennedy Decompression Technique. The Dynamic Disk Model is a dynamic two-part intervertebral disc spinal model which more closely resembles the real thing. With a markedly different annulus fibrosis and nucleus pulposus demonstrate: disc herniation, disc bulge, intervertebral foraminal (IVF) encroachment, facet imbrication, central stenosis related to disc, and nerve root compression...the way it should be demonstrated.
Also use this model to help patients understand spinal load intolerances to facilitate healing through educational rehabilitation. Demonstrate stability and instability concepts in a dynamic way. Demonstrate compressive load resistance, with careful R&D to provide an in vivo resistance feel upon compression. Demonstrate disc height loss and its relationship to the intervertebral foramen. Demonstrate creep. Demonstrate sheer disc stress, nerve tension signs, nerve flossing, antalgia, and nuclear migration through a torn annulus. Demonstrate endplate pores, endplate fracture and calcification with its relationship to endplate perfusion. Demonstrate flexion, extension, lateral flexion and coupled motions.
For Decompression practices this is an invaluable closing tool that helps patients understand the effects of decompression therapy. No practice offering Decompression Therapy should be without one. Available exclusively in the USA from the Kennedy Decompression Technique. Watch the exciting video at www.kennedytechnique.com shown under the products tab.

This innovative model shows the injury mechanism of a herniated disc. The simulator demonstrates how the intervertebral disc prolapses when flexing the vertebrae, producing what happens in real life when we bend or twist our trunk.
Since vertebral disorders are now widespread, chiropractors, physical therapists, orthopedists, and other professionals should have this model to make people aware of the importance of gentle movements and behaviours for the spinal column. This model will be of great assistance in medicine, physiotherapy, medical surgeries and clinics, work risk prevention, ergonomics, physical education and a wide variety of other fields.
The model consists of two vertebrae with an elastic intervertebral disc, spinal cord and nerves. Size: 12 x 11, 5 x 9 cm; Weight: 0.6 kg
